Submission Guidelines

We’re seeking talented writers and illustrators who share our passion for crafting meaningful and impactful books for young readers. If you have a story that aligns with our vision, we’d love to see it!

Writers

We welcome fiction and non-fiction submissions in the following categories: picture books, graphic novels, middle-grade, and young adult.

We are currently looking for manuscripts that:

  • tackle themes of neurodiversity, perseverance, and overcoming challenges

  • explore identity, diversity, and self-acceptance

  • address difficult topics with sensitivity and heart to help children navigate complex emotions

  • introduce young readers to the impact of art and history in shaping communities

  • bring timeless teachings to life for a young audience to encourage curiosity and introspection

Send your submission to honk@rebelgoosebooks.com with the subject line: Submission – [Your Book Title]. In your email, include yourself, your platform, and your manuscript. Attach the first three chapters (or the complete manuscript for picture books).

For illustrated submissions, please include sample artwork or a link to your portfolio.

Artist and Illustrators

We’re actively seeking talented artists and illustrators who can help us create bold, heartfelt, and inspiring books for young readers. We’re especially interested in diverse voices and perspectives, as well as those who can visually interpret themes of resilience, identity, emotional growth, and cultural richness.
